Your Step-by-Step Guide to the Ultimate Golf Weekend

4 Days • 3 Courses • 1 Unforgettable Experience

Club War is for golfers who want competition, camaraderie, and fun — all wrapped into one perfectly organized weekend. It’s your chance to play incredible courses, meet awesome people, and enjoy the thrill of tournament-style golf without the pressure of a tour.

Whether you’re joining with friends or flying solo, every event blends friendly rivalry, great vibes, and unforgettable memories on and off the course. From Thursday’s welcome reception to Sunday’s championship finish, we take care of the details so you can focus on what matters most — golf, laughter, and bragging rights.

Here’s exactly how it works 👇

🥇 STEP 1 – FORM YOUR TEAM (OR JOIN SOLO)

  • Teams can include up to 4 players, any mix of genders.

  • All participants must be 18 or older.

  • Don’t have a full team? Register as an individual or pair — we’ll do our best to match you with others.
    (No promises on skill level or personality matches — that’s part of the adventure 😉)

💻 STEP 2 – REGISTER ONLINE

Getting started is easy!

Head to club-war.com and open the Events menu to explore all Upcoming Tournaments and Experiences.

When you find the event you want, click Register and choose your preferred entry type:

  • Team of 4: Register your full squad together.

  • Pair: Sign up with a partner — we’ll match you with another pair.

  • Individual: Flying solo? We’ll add you to a team that needs players.

Want the full weekend experience? Add accommodations right from the registration page!

Finally, complete your entry fee payment (and accommodation deposit if applicable) to secure your spot — events fill up fast, so don’t wait!

💰 STEP 3 – CALCUTTA BIDDING OPENS (MONDAY BEFORE EVENT)

  • The Calcutta is a fun, optional side auction where teams are “purchased” by bidders and payouts are based on final results.

  • Early online bidding opens Monday at 12:00 PM (local tournament time) on the Club War website and app.

  • You can bid on your own team or others throughout the week.

  • Online bidding closes Thursday at noon, right before the Live Calcutta Auction begins.

🍸 STEP 4 – CHECK-IN & WELCOME RECEPTION (THURSDAY)

  • Arrive at the host hotel Thursday afternoon.

  • Join the Welcome Reception from 5:00–7:30 PM.

  • Club War staff will hand out your Player Gift Bag and Punch Card (these are not provided by hotel staff).

  • Enjoy light appetizers, drinks, and mingle with players.

  • At 6:00 PM, the Live Calcutta Auction begins — bid, cheer, or just enjoy the show!

    • 2 drink tickets per player are included.

⛳ STEP 5 – DIVISION PLACEMENT DAY (FRIDAY – COURSE #1)

  • Play your first 18-hole round — this determines your division.

  • Format: 4-person team scramble, rotating partners every 6 holes.

  • Scores are entered live through the Club War App.

  • Divisions are announced Friday night:

    • Division I – Championship Flight

    • Division II – Competitive Flight

    • Division III – Social Flight

    • Division IV – Fun Flight

🏌️ STEP 6 – DIVISION PLAY (SATURDAY – COURSE #2)

  • Compete within your assigned division for leaderboard position.

  • Each team splits into two partnerships — both scores combine for your total.

  • Captains submit next-day pairings by 7:00 PM.

  • Live leaderboards update throughout the day.

🏆 STEP 7 – CHAMPIONSHIP DAY (SUNDAY – COURSE #3)

  • Final 18-hole round — each division crowns a champion.

  • Teams are paired by rank (#1 vs #2, #3 vs #4, etc.).

  • Scores update in real time through the app.

  • Awards & Calcutta payouts immediately follow the round.

  • Play wraps up by early afternoon — perfect for travel home.
